All About Me

        After being a stay-at-home mom for many years, I enrolled in college,  graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2004, and started my teaching career here at Watwood in August 2004. First graders are near and dear to my heart, and I consider it a privilege and big responsibility to work with them each day.   

I have been married to the same man for 34 years, have three daughters and sons-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren. Just come by my room and I’ll share pictures! My oldest daughter, Mrs. Goza, is also a teacher here at Watwood.  

I enjoy playing the piano, working in the yard, entertaining my grandchildren, and teaching first grade.
